Admission to CPTC is a multi-step process, including application, evaluation of prior academic experience and assessment for postsecondary readiness of eligible applicants.
Eligibility for enrollment:
- Individuals 16 years of age or older or dually/jointly enrolled high school students in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grades who seek access to quality instruction at the post-secondary level are eligible for admissions.
- Applicants must be physically capable to attend class regularly, whether on-campus or online, and perform the essential functions of the occupation for which they are training. Certain programs may require physical exams, lab tests, and immunizations before clinical training or equipment use.
- Certain Programs have additional admission requirements such as drug testing (e.g., for Commercial Truck Driving) or competitive admissions (e.g., for certain Health Science programs).
