Students who will be enrolled in a Federal Pell eligible program must complete the appropriate year's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All students must use their legal name as it appears on their social security card. Using anything other than their legal name will result in delays during processing. After your FAFSA form is submitted and processed, you can access your FAFSA Submissions Summary (formerly Student Aid Report) -- an electronic or paper document that summarizes the information you reported on your FAFSA form. It includes your estimated eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant, your Student Aid Index (SAI), and whether you have been selected for verification. If you are selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education, you will be required to provide additional documents.
