The Radiologic Technician Assistant program places emphasis on maintaining adequate supplies in exam rooms, handling of oxygen tanks, ability to process CR & DR, knowledge of PACS system, transporting patients to/from all imaging areas, greeting patients and assists in preparing the patients for exams, preparation of the examination rooms, and dismissing the patient after the exam is completed giving any special instructions needed.
